Author: Richa Jha

Capitalism always had existed in one form or another but the scale at which it grew in the modern age was striking. It took the world by shock and transformed the ideologies that existed for centuries. The basic concept of capitalism as the term is used in today’s language implies a mental influence towards advertisement, growing one’s capital and another concept of boredom. The entertainment sector has scooted up with capitalism from amusement parks to movies, from gaming to art shows. The basic idea that "boredom" occurs when we don’t do anything fun has a lot to do with capitalism.

A continuous and incisive move by the early gamers to create a sense of respite from day to day work with "fun" and the idea that they deserve it after hard work. The advertisement industry thrives on the very idea of family and boredom. These to concept interestingly convert the psychological thinking pattern of an individual to adhere the capitalist move. Think of it, studying or working in office is called work while watching a movie is entertainment. Although people have turned their talent into profession but a major chunk of the population falls for the "boredom" theory. In all this the concept of capitalism has nothing to offer the poor; it directly aims at middle and upper class. Ignoring the rest who cannot avail or pay for such services, capitalism has pushed a middle class or upper class individual into a dark room of oblivion where the humankind does not really matters. Capitalism with it brought individualism, from sharing and living a life online on social networking websites to earning for oneself.

A person can easily avail entertainment possibilities online like a basic search result for latest hindi songs free download or stock images free. The "free" and "discount" terms influence the users and customers to such an extent which proves the effect of capitalism. The gap between the rich and the poor has widened beyond imagination and all administrative attempts to fill it up go wasted. With people all around the world buying the trends and ignoring the environmental and basic humane concerns it has started showing up. Capitalism has been identified as one of the most serious mental bondages of all times. Huge factories, a world where people pay for basic necessities like fresh air and water are all a product of capitalism. It is a danger inevitably waiting to destroy mankind in a way of its own, fracturing the economy to a huge extent.
