Procedure of SBI Clerk 2017

The State Bank of India (SBI) is expected to conduct the preliminary exam of SBI Clerk for the post of Junior Associates and Junior Agriculture Associates in the month of June in 2017. The official notification of SBI Clerk is about to come, and the exact date of the exam will be clear. The students can then prepare their study plan as per the days left. But to plan out for the exam, it is important to know the details of the exam so that no section of the exam will remain untouched and ignored.

Application Form:

The application form of SBI Clerk 2017 exam is expected to be available in the month of April.

Eligibility:

To give the SBI Clerk Exam, the candidate needs to successfully clear the graduation in any field by university recognized by a state or central government. The age limit is 20 to 28 years.

Admit Card:

The Admit Card for the prelims exam will be released expectedly in the month of May.

Mode-

SBI Clerk will be a computer based test which will be conducted online in two phases- Preliminary and Mains. The candidates who will be selected in the Preliminary exam will be allowed to appear in the online mains exam.

Admit Card-

The Admit card for the prelims in expected to be released in the month of May and the admit card for the mains exam is scheduled to be released in June.

Exam Pattern-

Prelims- The SBI Clerk 2017 prelims exam that will be conducted in May/June and consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability and English Language. The exam will be on a one-hour duration which will comprise 100 questions of 100 marks in total. In the paper, the English paper comprises of 30 questions of 30 marks. The Numerical Ability paper comprises of 35 questions of 35 marks, and the reasoning ability paper comprises of 35 questions of 35 marks.

Mains- The mains exam will be conducted in July/August and consist of MCQs from Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General English, Computer Aptitude and General/Financial Awareness. The exam will be of two hours forty minutes duration which will comprise of 190 questions of 200 marks in total. The Quantitative Aptitude section will be given 45minutes to complete 50 questions of 50 marks. The Reasoning Aptitude and Computer Aptitude section will be given 45 minutes to complete 50 questions of 60 marks. The General English section will be given 35 minutes to complete 40 questions of 40 marks. The General/Financial Awareness section will be given 35 minutes to complete 50 questions of 50 marks.

SBI Clerk Results 2017:

SBI Clerk Results of the preliminary exams will be declared in June 2017, and the results of the mains exam will be announced in September 2017.

The prelims will be of just qualifying nature, and the final merit will be made in taking into account the marks of mains exam only. Therefore, it is crucial for the candidates to score well in the mains exams.
