Tata Tigor 2017 All you need to know
Tata launched its 3rd and latest compact sedan- the Tigor. Powered by a choice of both petrol and diesel engines and equipped with solid and powerful Tata Parts.
Tata's latest discovery, its 3rd and latest compact sedan- the Tigor (previously known as Kite 5) is launched in March this year. The Tigor is aggressively priced and positioned below the current pile of Tata's compact sedan as a substitute for the ageing Indigo eCS. The sedan is labeled as a ‘Styleback’ by the company. The car features design and style much like its sibling- the Tiago, up to the B-pillar, with the rear styling giving the car an identity of its own.
Exteriors
First exhibited at last year's Auto Expo, the designing team of Tigor has taken cues from its sibling in terms of exterior styling. But the rear of the car and the overall look and feel is completely redesigned giving the car an almost coupe-like profile.
Interiors
The interiors also resemble much like Tiago, with a familiar dashboard and equipment on offer, though there are some additional features on offer to enhance the value proposition of its top variants.
Gadgets
The XT variant of Tata Tigor is laced with a fair bit of kit with a Harman-sourced infotainment system, driver seat height adjustment system, power windows, rear centre armrest, remote locking, rear parking sensors, sturdy Tata Spare Parts and, more importantly, ABS.
Variants
Tata Tigor will be available in four variants naming XE, XT, XZ and XZ (O). All are the entry level variants but are socked with rather high quality and advance equipments. Tata Tigor XE is laced with basic equipment like air conditioning, power steering and internally adjustable wing mirrors.
Expected Price
Expect the car to be launched around the festive season this year priced aggressively at Rs 5.5 lakh.
