The only requirements for this job are a compute, internet connectivity and a room and of course a flare for writing and a sufficient knowledge of the language mostly English because content writing assignments may come to you from all over the world but other languages too are coming up. Knowledge of language essentially means a command over the grammar and spelling.

One more very important requirement is speed in writing the more the speed the more the articles and more the payment. There are firms and organizations who appoint freelance writers under them. Content writing consists of blogs, articles, press releases, reviews etc.

Payment, pattern in this job varies It is either per word or per article. Big business houses or portals also employ content writers on monthly basis. Experienced writers can command their own rates. But there is one ugly side to the coin and those is some retainers take the work and then forget to pay and since it is all on the net they are not traceable. To avoid this kind of unpleasantness writers have started demanding advance payment but that is not always feasible.
