Many people are proud Toyota owners. In fact, the company has long enjoyed record sales and has been a leader in the industry for automobile sales in the United States for several years. Toyota again topped the sales category in 2013 with record sales in North America. This is something the company has become quite accustomed to and it is also something that they are likely to continue to experience, as there are a number of proud Toyota owners that are driving cars today.

It is easy to understand why there were Toyota record sales 2013. Few other car companies are able to make a car that will last as long as those made by Toyota. Many customers who purchased a Toyota, 10 or even 15 years ago are still driving the same automobile today. Moreover, they are still happy with the car and report few problems. This is a major portion of the company's ability to become a mainstay in North America and to enjoy the sales that they have been able to enjoy for several years.

In addition to Toyota's reputation for overall quality and dedication to its customers, there are a number of specific reasons that the company has managed to outsell its competitors year after year. The biggest reason is that its automobiles are simply leaders in their categories time and time again. According to Toyota’s USE Newsroom, the Camry, Toyota’s leading midsize four door sedan, is the best-selling car in America for the 12th straight year in a row. This is huge because the automotive industry is so competitive that it is extremely difficult to enjoy that type of popularity for such a long period of time. Even Toyota's recent bouts with issues concerning the accelerator in some of their automobiles has not destroyed their ability to remain strong as a sales leader.

In addition, Toyota sells a number of other vehicles that are also leaders in their class. The Toyota Corolla is one of the best-selling automobiles for entry level buyers who want a great car that offers great looks and reliability and without costing too much money. The car is able to deliver on all counts and Corolla owners often continue to buy new Corolla’s or graduate to the slightly larger and more expensive Camry. Toyota has cornered the market in the hybrid and electric car sales with its Prius. It was essentially the frontrunner in creating a car of this type as it was the first car company that was able to manufacture a car that could operate as a hybrid and remain popular. It has now forged the way for other car companies to do the same.

Toyota has also has seen a huge increase in sales of its trucks, with the Tundra and the Tacoma, gaining popularity every year. Essentially, Toyota has a vehicle for each and every individual and is able to construct a vehicle for virtually any type of circumstance. Regardless whether a customer is looking for an inexpensive car that can get them from point "a" to point "b" in style or a large four door truck that can haul or tow virtually anything, Toyota can definitely deliver.

In closing, it is not surprising at all that Toyota has seen record sales in North America for 2013. The company has led the way for several years in a number of different classes of automobiles and it is likely to continue in the future. The great looks and reliability of their automobiles makes it easy to understand why so many customers are proud Toyota owners, and they will likely continue to purchase Toyota's in the future.
