Non-responding Outlook mail server

End Outlook.exe process
When you find the non-responding Outlook, you should immediately end/kill the Outlook.exe process. This is really required when the process is not responding. Follow these steps to end Outlook.exe.
- Simply, start the Windows Task Manager; you can use Ctrl + Alt + Del/ by right clicking the taskbar
- Then select the Start Task Manager
- Now got to the Processes tab
- Here select the OUTLOOK.EXE by clicking on it
- And, click on the End Process button
Use Safe mode
The best way to use Outlook when it is not responding; go to safe mode. This works in most of the cases. You can enable safe mode by following these steps.
- Simply hold down the Ctrl key and click on Outlook icon or open the command line and type outlook.exe /safe command
- Then click on Yes to confirm that you want to start Outlook in Safe mode

This could be reason that your Firewall or antivirus creates problem with your Outlook.
