How to Clear CTET 2017 in 1st Attempt?
Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) for the recruitment of teachers in the central schools for the class I to VIII. Lakhs of candidates apply for the post, but a few get selected in the final merit list of this exam. It is one of the most famous exams among the candidates who aspire to become a teacher in the government schools.
Here are some tips that will help the candidates to clear the Ctet 2017 exam in the very first attempt-
1. Analysing the Exam Pattern-
The most important thing a CTET aspirant need to do is to understand the pattern of the CTET 2017 exam clearly. Without understanding the exam pattern, the direction of preparation may get distorted, and all the hard work may go in vain. CTET consist of two papers, those who want to become a teacher for class I to V have to clear the Paper 1 while those who want to become a teacher for class VI to VIII have to clear both CTET Paper 1 and Paper 2. The duration of exam for both papers is 2.5 hours, and the total marks are 150 marks. The questions asked in the paper are from the topics like Child Development and Pedagogy, Language, Mathematics, Environmental Science and Social Sciences.
2. Preparation in line with Syllabus-
In the competitive exams like CTET, the syllabus plays a vital role. It is highly recommended to the CTET aspirants to prepare taking account the topics of the syllabus else you may end wasting too much time on the topics that are not asked in the exam from the given topics.
3. Analysing the Previous Year Papers-
The next important step is to analyse the previous year papers. CTET has a wide syllabus, and the aspirants need to prepare smartly. More time should be given to the topics which are asked more times and are of more weightage. This can only be possible when the previous year papers and fairly analysed.
4. Right Strategy-
No topic of CTET can be left untouched. Mathematics is a scoring section which needs to be covered first. Mathematics should be prepared in such a way so that maximum questions can be scored right. Second scoring sections are Language sections. In this section also a good score can be earned. Every aspirant has his own way of preparation and strategy, take reference from here and prepare accordingly.
5. Practice-
Practice is the key to stand ahead of other competitors in CTET exam. The more you practice, more precisely would be the answers to the questions. The probability of scoring and final selection would increase. Take as many mock tests as you can. Mock test will help you to frame the mind in accordance to the main exam.
