Passionate and Efficient Business Leader
Shannon Pigram is a multi-talented HR executive specialising in business development and learning, employee engagement and talent management. Passionate about employee engagement, he aims to enhance the performance of people in organisations by facilitating continuous improvement and growth. Shannon understands that an organisation’s success entirely depends on being proactive with employee engagement and increased productivity and a spirit of innovation are the results of inspiring the staff and that one can’t happen without the other.
Currently, Shannon is Global Professional Development Manager at Norman, Disney and Young leading the international learning and organisational development of the company. He is an expert in enhancing the performance of people in organisations and to accomplish this goal versatile efforts are required that he developed during his educational background and career path.
Originally from Brisbane, Queensland, Shannon spent most of his life there attending Hendra Secondary College from 1995 to 1999 and then went on to attain a graduate certificate in law from Griffith University in 2002. After completing his graduation, he took a break to develop his career in organisational development. He worked as a compliance officer at WorkCover Queensland from 2003 to 2008. Then he moved on to work with QBE for next three years. First as a case manager and then promoted to capability development consultant, which is where he started focusing on learning and engagement. While still working, Pigram graduated from Monash University in 2015 with a Master’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing and Related Support Services.
Later he moved on to working as Learning and Development Manager with Xchanging CSC UKI, an insurance company in Melbourne for the state of Victoria. There he was responsible for creating strategies for continuous employee growth and education, helping maximise employee’s potential and encourage productivity. Later he was promoted to national manager in 2015 and was responsible for company culture all over Australia.
Shannon Pigram has produced and co-produced a variety of projects in cities all over Australia. He takes on complex tasks with ease and has organised many large scale events and juggled large range of duties. He is always ready for a challenge and takes on to new ventures.
