Photography Workshops and Classes, Studio and Location, London

Simulacra Studio London has joined forces with international photography workshop providers The Photo Academy to bring world class photography and video tuition to London.

The Photo Academy operates in New York, Toronto, Vancouver, Helsinki, Brussels, Dublin, Geneva and cities all over France but is now running in London, bringing a range of photography courses and classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced photographers with hand picked, industry savvy tutors.

The classes are held either as street based classes in Central London or when required at Simulacra Studio, we have ample studio space and training support systems in place including plus a coffee bar area.

Our photography classes run as follows, if you're a total beginner possibly with a new camera you're just dying to know how to operate then our Beginners Workshop Package is for you, this consists of 4 workshops all 3.5 hours long:1 Camera Settings2 Aperture and depth of Field3 Shutter Speed and Movement4 Light and Focus

Prices are £60 each or £200 for all 4.

Once you've completed these workshops there are 4 more that naturally follow on, these are considered artistic development workshops:

The pricing is the same.

We also offer Gift Vouchers and the courses make great, unusual gift ideas for any photography enthusiast.

All the classes have a maximum of 7 students so you have a fair amount of one on one time with the tutor.

If you prefer a private class these are also available, they cover any area of photography and are gauged to your particular area of interest and level. We also teach video, editing, Photoshop, Lightroom and have a lot of up and coming classes in other areas of photography ie shooting with water and paint, fashion photography, full day assistant's guide and training.

The Photo Academy and Simulacra Studio are an excellent place to extend your industry training, especially for young professionals and recent graduates looking to gain the skills needed for employment, as well as keen hobbyists.

We can also deliver courses remotely over Skype or with video demonstrations if need be, tailor made longer courses of 30+ hours or regular weekly, monthly classes are also available.
