It is the scheme which is an open-ended equity growth scheme. It is the type of investment which comes with the 3 year lock-in period. It also provides the benefit of tax deduction up to the amount of?1,50,000. The investor can opt to invest the entire amount of?1,50,000 available under sec 80 (C) in the Equity Linked Saving Scheme (ELSS). It offers you the high returns and tax deduction benefits. It also has the option to invest in small amounts using Systematic Investment Plans.
