CMAT 2018: Details you must know

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level test directed by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for admission to all programs offered in AICTE affiliated foundations. In 2018 CMAT will be held in the month of January 2018. The test will have in every one of the 100 questions which must be solved in 180 minutes. There is negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. For CMAT 2018, the general example, no. of questions and the marking scheme will be the same as CMAT 2017. CMAT is a three-hour Computer Based examination where difficulty levels, number of questions and the time duration of each segment is predetermined and are same with little regard to when and where the test is conducted.

The quantitative and data interpretation segment ordinarily contains questions having a difficulty level of moderate to tough. The vital subjects canvassed in this area are Geometry, Mensuration, Profit and Loss, Number System, Averages, Probability, Logarithms and so forth. To have an edge in this segment, you have to practice routinely and have good concept clarity.

Developing a regular habit of perusing English newspapers frequently alongside books and magazines will help you in building your vocabulary and do well in the verbal section of CMAT. The Logical and Analytical Reasoning Section constitutes questions on Analytical Reasoning, Blood Relations, Input/yield, Alpha-Numeric Series, Visual Reasoning, True/False Statements, Deductive Logic, Data course of action, Family relations, Linear game plan, Coding-Decoding, Direction based inquiries, Syllogisms and Data Sufficiency.
