Chhattisgarh cabinet minister on Ram Katha

Agriculture minister of Chhattisgarh Brijmohan Agrawal who’s also minister for religious trusts and endowments, inaugurated a nine day Shri Ram Katha program. Started from December 30th, 2017 this program shall continue till January 7, 2018 at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium of Raipur. The people of city can listen to Ram katha narrated by Vani Bhushan pandit Shambhu Sharan Laata Ji Maharaj. He is a world renowned Ram Katha Vaachak (narrator) from Rishikesh, Uttrakhand.

Minister Brijmohan Agrawal had come there with family along with a large number of people from city and around, to listen to the Ram Katha. After the first day of this nine days long program, Shri Agrawal said that Maharaj ji shall narrate different chapters of Ram Katha every day of which Baal Ram katha, Sita vivaah, Sundarkand, Sita Haran, Ravan vadh are great stories to listen to. He said the way maharaj ji narrates the stories while singing Ram bhajans in between, that is just awesome.

Laata Ji maharaj said Shri Ram Katha is like rays of the moon that not only give us peace but remove our fears and worries as well. Ram Katha is like a Shaastra (sacred writing) as well like a Shastra (arms). Minister Brijmohan Agrawal said if we understand Ram Katha in its right spirit and implement that in our lives, we will learn how to overcome all our challenges positively and be free from worries forever.

Brijmohan Agrawal, Cabinet Minister of Chhattisgarh, from being a firebrand student leader who single handedly took on the mafia culture prevalent amongst the students those days, to become the youngest member of the Madhya Pradesh legislative assembly and consistently carrying on the legacy is a saga one would want to caricature a biography upon. Born on 1st May 1959, in a humble family, the mileposts of reforms and revolution through politics, for him were not distant dreams rather viable visions which he pursued and boarded upon valiantly. He achieved huge success and acclamation both in the social and political domains in the state of undivided Madhya Pradesh and present Chhattisgarh.

Agrawal has served his last 10 years and has overhauled the state's edification system. Early developments have been made in the sector of education providing the fundamental base to the spectrum. This resulted into a transformed world. Things which were moving laggard pace earlier, now take place at a rapid pace.

During Brijmohan Agrawal's tenure as an educational minister, thousands of new schools have been established alongside launched many new realms in Chhattisgarh and has facilitated people to get easy access of schooling by giving children free books and bicycles. At any rally – be it in Raipur or a small village – Brijmohan Agrawal has always stressed on the importance of education and requested folks to ensure that the children are being sent to schools. Agrawal knows it very well that education is perhaps one of the most powerful tool which can be instrumental in bringing about change.
