BHU UET 2018: Banaras Hindu University to Start Admission Process by February

BHU UET 2018 is an entrance exam which organised by Banaras Hindu University to provide admissions to the applicants who are willing to take admission in different undergraduate programs. Banaras Hindu University application forms will start from the first week of February 2018 (expectedly) and the entrance exams for the applicants who are seeking admissions in the BHU (Banaras Hindu University) then they need to know that admissions are going to start from 1st April 2018. The university offers multiple General courses, Professional courses and many vocational courses also. All the admissions will be accepted by the admission committees of the particular or specific branches after analysing the score cards of the respective Undergraduate entrance test (UET).

The candidates must have passed their class 12 or any other equivalent from a recognised board/University and must have scored 50% average marks and for SC/ST candidates (40% average marks), for OBC it is o 45% average marks. These percentages are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria for securing admission in BA LLB (Hons) course. For the candidates who are pursuing their class 12 exams are also considered eligible to apply for the BHU UET 2018. However, it is to be noted that the candidates who will fail to generate their class 12 mark sheet then their admission will be done as conditional admission in BA LLB (Hons) course.

All the candidates need to produce the final result by the specified date and time otherwise their admission will be cancelled. And at the time of their counselling all the participants need to present their score cards in which they are stated to be passed with at least 50% marks and this is a necessary document for all the reserved category students. For BHU UET 2018 Admission the candidates should have passed class XII from open universities without any basic qualification will not be eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

The exam centres where this entrance exam will be conducted are Allahabad, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Kochi, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Lucknow, Dimapur, Mirzapur, Gorakhpur, Vadodara, Guwahati and Varanasi.

Here is the exam pattern for BHU UET 2018 entrance exam:

  • The entrance exam will contain 150 multiple choice question of 450 marks.
  • The duration of the entrance exam is of two hours.
  • The entrance exam will include five subjects such as General awareness, current affairs, legal aptitude, English comprehension and mental ability.
  • The candidates will be awarded three marks for every right attempt.
  • For each wrong answer one mark will be deducted as there is negative marking applicable.

The candidates must keep in their mind while applying for the entrance exam that they should enter all the appropriate details related to their qualifications and personal details as well. They should cross check their filled application form twice before they submit it. As, they will not be given any chance to edit their filled application form. The candidates can make their payment via Credit/Debit card/Net banking as well. After completing with the payment section all the eligible candidates are requested to take a print out of their confirmation form for future communication.
