ALA is designed to provide lifeguard training in water. It is useful to save your life if you are in danger due to water. It helps you to respond quickly in any aquatic emergency. We provide a certification which remains valid up to 2 years. We have trained more than 100,000 individuals since 1990.

Professional Lifeguard Recertification: This training covers Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid and Oxygen Supplement, and Blood Pathogens. ALA is offering the new Professional Lifeguarding recertification or roll out program to the new material for individuals who have been a Lifeguard in the past. Individuals do not need to have a current Lifeguard certification at the time.

How to get enrolled in Lifeguard Training?

  1. Lifeguard Training encourages the participants to go for medical examination as it requires a lot of physical work that can’t be accomplished without having strength or fitness. Once you passed your medical examination you can get enrolled in lifeguard training & become certified.
  2. As per USA Labor Laws, one should be 15 years older to work at swimming pool, Lake or Water Park & 16 years older to work at beaches.

What will you going to learn in Lifeguard Classes?

  • Rescue Skills
  • Caring for Head, Neck or Back injury skills
  • CPR/AED skills
  • First Aid skills

This American Lifeguard Association Course covers Life guarding, Lifeguard Courses Lifeguard Training Courses Lifeguard Classes. Our Lifeguard course offers two different certifications. One for shallow and deep water and the other is for shallow water only. There is no cost difference and the training is very similar.

The purpose of the American Lifeguarding course is to teach candidates the Knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies.
