Description of GST?
- GST is a dual taxation system in which Central and State Government will be levying tax on common basis.
- The tax levied by the Central Government will be called as Central Goods & Services Tax (CGST). The tax levied by the State Government will be called as State Goods & Services Tax (CGST).
- On every Inter-State supply tax will be levied and collected by the Central Government.
- On every Intra-State supply tax will be levied and collected by the State Government and the Central Government which will be called Integrated Goods and Service Tax.
Who is liable to pay GST?
Under the existing system of GST is liable to be paid by following:
a. Persons who supply goods and services.
b. When the turnover of the supplier crosses the limit of?20 Lakhs (for some special category it is?10 Lakhs.

Before enrolling with the GST Portal, you need to ensure the following information:
- Provisional ID received either from State Authorities or Central Authorities.
- Password received either from Central Authorities or State Authorities.
- Valid E-mail Address.
- Valid Mobile Number.
- Bank Account Number.
- Bank IFSC.
(B). Documents Required for GST Registration in Bihar:
To complete the GST Enrolment procedure, following documents are required by the Department:

Certificate of Incorporationissued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
9.
Unlimited Company
Certificate of Incorporationissued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
10.
Limited Liability Partnership
Certificate of Incorporationissued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
11.
Local Authority
Any proof substantiating Constitutionissued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
12.
Statutory Body
Any proof substantiating Constitutionissued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
13.
Foreign Company
Certificate of Establishment.
14.
Foreign Limited Liability Partnership
Certificate of Establishment.
15.
Others
Registration Certificate/ Any proof substantiating Constitution of the business.
