NHAI is Accepting Applications for their Internship Scheme for the Present Academic Year
The National Highways Authority of India is an autonomous entity which focuses around the salient constructional operation of the roads and highways around the country. The organisation is encouraging the budding youth of the country to join their team by proposing their new internship programme for the Academic Year of 2018-19.
National Highways Authority of India has issued an official notification stating the guidelines and rules and regulations concerning the internship programme. The programme is going to be conducted for this particular Academic year of 2018-19 dated within the dates from July 01st 2018 to June 30th 2019. The officials concerned with this have issued a statement clarifying all the requirements and eligibility that they are currently looking for.
This internship programme is open to the students who are either pursuing their graduation, post-graduation or research degree from an esteemed institution or university. The process of selection is going to be very challenging owing to the kind of competition and number of applications that they are expecting. The internship is going to add an amazing boost to every student’s resume because of the kind of popularity and name NHAI has gathered around the nation.
The eligibility criteria for the internship programme has been categorised into three points. For the first condition, the candidate must be a student who is either in their final year of graduation or pursuing their post-graduation or research degree from a renowned University or Institution. The candidate needs to have scored a minimum of 70% marks or equivalent grade point in the prior semesters or courses. No candidates with a kind of supplementary of back-logs will be entertained for the programme. As per the general norms set by NHAI, students can only apply once for this internship programme throughout their academic career.
As for the additional features for this internship, the students will be awarded a monthly stipend of Rs. 5000. The maximum duration of the internship programme is going to be for 2 months in this specific Academic Year of 2018-19. The same will be decided by the conducting officials of NHAI itself once the process of selection is done with. Yet another factor is that the selected individual can be deployed at any of the offices of The National Highways Authority of India scattered around the entire country.
Keeping everything aside, NHAI has decided that the selection process will be based on the first come first serve basis because of the limited amount of seats for the programme. Apart from the application form, the interested candidates need to submit their approved No Objection Certificate (NOC) along with the application itself. It should be officially stamped and approved by the University that the student is studying under.
The selected candidates will have to produce original certificates and ID proof during the time of recruitment after the selection process. The students also need to produce a letter from their Supervisor/Head of the department/Principal, mentioning the status in the institution. The closing date for the submission of the application forms is May 12th 2018 at 1700 hours.
