European designers VS American designers
Europe and America in their entirety are no doubt places that easily respond to changes in world activities. They are world movers and sure have a plethora of varieties as regards designs. European designs are both very distinct and are easily recognizable by people, at least for those which are conversant with interior designs. The aim of this article is to compare or state the differences as the case may be, between European Designers and American designers and not necessarily to make one class appear inferior to the other.
Europe has a gargantuan variety of cultures, backgrounds and therefore has enormous designs embedded in it. It is Worthy of note that history also has a part to play in these designs. Modern European designs are immensely admired by Americans.
A variety of European Designs would be considered.
Tuscan:
The Tuscan style is basically Italian but this is not to say that it is devoid of influences from other backgrounds such as French and Spanish. Touches of the Renaissance and Old Etruscan culture can also be noticed in the Tuscan style.
Hence, European designers work with this background to achieve the desired interior design.
Victorian:
The Victorian design is traceable to the 19th century. It is notable for tidiness and ornamentation. A designer in this context would definitely give room for entertainment spaces in the front of a Victorian home. The chairs and furnishings are also notably small in size.
Baroque:
Baroque designers give a luxurious and over ornamented look to a structure. The 17th century Europe is the era that baroque can be traced to exquisite palaces and churches of the mid 18th century are also of the baroque design.
Mediterranean:
Designers in this category give room for a lot of coastal elements because of course; the background is a sea like in nature. The colors also depict the beautiful coast.
French provincial:
It has some similarities with the baroque and is a composition of some rustic elements. Designers in this category put together a lot of rural or countryside bits and pieces.
Italian:
Italian designers are no doubt examples to be followed. This is a snazzy, modern and exquisite design. It is a design worth going for.
Having looked at a few European designs and what they entail, this article would be incomplete if their American counterparts are not also examined.
American designers tend to pick up a couple of colors and apply them in a space to create a co-ordinate but not matching look. American designers also do not involve a very wide variety of design statements unlike some European designers. While European designers tend to go after comfort, American designers like Ryan Korban choose and prefer modernism. It is also important to note that American designers tend to lay emphasis on the decluttering i.e. they would in most cases prefer a perfectly organized and arranged interior than one which is done haphazardly.
While European designers have a very wide range of variety at their disposal the American designers might not, but that doesn't mean they are not making use of what they have to the fullest. Both categories of interior designers are unique in their separate ways to suit and fit in meeting up with your taste. It is up to you to decide what you want.
