Independence Day is the great day for Indian people as India got freedom at this day from the British rule after years of slavery. Indian people celebrate India's Independence Day annually on 15th of August. It would ever remain a holy day for every Indian because we have achieved our Independence after much struggle and sacrifices. India is a country where people of different religions, language, caste and creed stay together in harmony. It is truly a secular and a diverse country which is united in its outlook. Flag hoisting: On this auspicious day, our honourable Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi hoisted the tricolour national flag at ramparts, Red Fort in New Delhi.
