Since the school is affiliated to the CBSE, New Delhi, the new pattern seems to be a positive challenge for the school to work towards the growth of students. It is not only important to understand the new way of learning but to implement it and get the best results out of it.
Now, knowing the format of the CBSE examination and the latest pattern, the important changes can really prove beneficial to the students.
CBSE can prove to be a great advantage for children as its syllabus is synced with many other competitive examinations. It lays less emphasis on practical application and more emphasis on theoretical knowledge which helps a student to conquer other exams after passing out from CBSE. Yet, this point contradicts in the teachings of CBSE which even though has well- structured subjects of conceptual understanding still has more emphasis on the theory and not practical.
CBSE is one of the popular Education System that parents opt for their children. And it is important to analyze, how it can be better for your children. Students are often confused about the patterns of CBSE and sometimes this leads to pressure in exams for children. As we all know, it is very important for students to learn without pressure. CBSE has a lot of aspects which are encompassed in the proper education of the children. With many students writing board exams in Central Board of Secondary Education, the new pattern proves to be a boon or not, is yet to be known. Keeping in mind, the students and their abilities, the decision of introducing new changes was taken.
Benefits of the new proposed changes:
Relaxation in the passing criteria might be a boon
CBSE has increased the passing criteria for the Class 10 students. From this year onwards, students will have to secure overall 33 percent marks (Internal and External included) in the subjects to be eligible to pass.
Internal choices increased by 33 percent
There will be an increase in the total no. of Internal choices provided in all sections approximately of 33%. With the increase in the choice, it will be more convenient for students to attempt those questions in which they are comfortable.
Focus to shift from Rote learning to conceptual understanding
This shift of focus in paper pattern from rote learning to conceptual understanding can prove to be really beneficial in increasing the intellectual abilities of children.
Exams to be held in February for Vocational and main exams in March
