In 2011 F2i fit into the market of telecommunications by acquiring, in partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo, the 100% of Metroweb, leader company for the management of optical fiber in Milan. The same year, with the acquisition of G6 Rete Gas, in partnership with AXA, the fund led by Vito Gamberale obtained approximately the 20% of the market for the distribution of gas. In the following years, F2i acquired shares in SEA, Sagat and TRM - Trattamento Rifiuti Metropolitani. In 2012 a second fund started with a collection target of 1.200 million.
