How Fruit Juice Plant Work - Production Overview
So now when you know all the steps which are important for how juice is extracted and what all the steps are involved then you must get involved in the process too. You must also know that it’s not easy to get the job done in order to maintain the quality of juice and concentrates as the only thing that will matter in the end of the production of juice is the taste and quality of it.
You might have wondered how the juice in your glass gets prepared, whether it is as simple as pouring it in the glass from the bottle. Every year tonnes of fruits from plantations is been used to make fruit juice. Most part is exported, and the rest of the part is sold as raw material to produce concentrates and juice.
Receiving of Raw Material
In order to produce concentrates and fruit juice most important thing is to buy best quality raw fruits by juice manufacturing plant. Quality fruit is the one which is ripe and healthy. In order to produce the juice and concentrates two methods are used been called as Dry and Wet. These methods are used to transport and unload fruits to warehouse. Many engineering plants install and deliver both type of systems for the customers.
Dry systems consist of:
Cabin of operator
Sorter spiral-Impurities are been separated as: stones, sand, branches and leaves
Diagonal conveyor belt- take out raw material from the hopper
Unloading conveyor belt- it moves the raw material to respective chambers
Hydraulic tipper- it is used to emptying the fruit to the hopper
Wet System consists of:
Operation systems contain rooms that has pneumatic and control cabinet
To rinse fruit with water automatic controlled water cannon
Conveyor bucket is used to separate water from raw material
In order to make quality deterioration and process of putrefactive, the farmer aims to produce the raw material fastest.
In different stages fruits are washed on the basis of unloading system used. Using the hydro transport system from silos fruits are been taken to a section of pulp preparation.
Fruit pulp processing and preparation
In the sorting units, raw material is transferred from pre production unit. In sorting unit employees will clearly inspect each and every fruit if there is any fruit which isn’t good enough is been rejected. Then these selected fruits go to the mill, and adjustable mill elements like sieves, pressing rollers and knives adjust to the quality of raw material in order to produce optimal pulp parameter.
Enzyme preparation is been added during pulp milling while using membrane pump which leads to process of processing. Then once pulp is been made it is been taken to pulp heater wherein pulp flows to the pipe and it is been heated with water at a specific temperature.
Juice making
In order to yield maximum juice pressing stage of raw material plays a major role. Next stage is Extrusion where in pulp is been filled in a chamber space where pulp is been pressured in the chamber to extract juice. Once the pulp is filled in the chamber space pressing happens with the help of piston and juice comes out. This process is repeated multiple times to extract most of the juice from the pulp, as the chamber is being constantly moved and pressed while being pressed to get the most extraction.
Filtration, dearomatization and pasteurization
Once juice is been collected it is been taken to other chambers for pasteurization and dearomatization. Pasteurization is done at a temperature up to 105 degrees to give juice stabilization from microorganisms, protein denaturation and starch formation. At the same time all aromatic substances are removed from the juice with low steam consumption. Once process is done extracted juice been taken to depectinisation tanks to prepare fining agents by adding enzymes. Once these steps are done juice is need to be filtered and for that juice is been moved from depectinisation tank to the main tank where in juice is been pumped with high velocity to form a top layer and rest of the product gets collected at the bottom which is been considered as the ready product or juice. Then again it is filtered once more to get maximum extraction. Once the juice is filtered and extracted it is been taken to evaporation section to get condensed.
Storage and standardisation
Once the juice is concentrated and condensed and it gets cools down it has been moved to the warehouse. Standardisation happens which is an important stage to maintain parameters and quality.
Now if you have been planning to own a juice manufacturing plant all the important pointers have been mentioned above which help you in getting it started. However, if you still have any doubts you must plan a visit to any of your nearest plants like Neologic Engineers Pvt Ltd, to understand the things in detail that will give you a clear picture and will surely ensure that you know it all in order to yield the best of quality juice from the raw material.
