The next phase of the Line 5 Condominium project by Reserve Properties and Westdale Properties is on its way. You can register now for the latest updates on this highly sought-after development.

The new South Tower of the Line 5 condominium is located on the south end of the 117 Broadway Avenue site. The South and North Towers share a podium that was designed by renowned interior design firm U31. The podium features such amenities as an oversized, boutique hotel styled lobby, bold light fixtures, inviting furniture, and a cafe tuck shop.

Amenities

The South Tower is a high-rise building with modern architecture. Sleek glass paneling compliments a minimalist, urban chic exterior. The interior is luxurious and oversized.

The Line 5 condominium project will replace 131 rental units in two on-site apartment buildings. The new project will offer 990 units in a variety of suite layouts.

The suites will offer 3.8 square metres of amenities per unit, including both indoor and outdoor space. Unit sizes range from studio to three bedrooms to compliment the variety of lifestyles of its tenants, and the building’s suites are designed with different layouts and amenities.

  • The ground floor features a 24-hour concierge, a juice and coffee bar, a fitness studio, a personal training studio, and a spa lounge.
  • The seventh floor features two outdoor BBQ and dining lounges, a party lounge, a catering kitchen, an art studio, and an outdoor theatre.
  • The ninth floor features an outdoor pool and lounge, an outdoor BBQ and dining lounge, and an outdoor games lounge.

Additional amenities at Line 5 include:

  • 402 parking spaces in a three-level underground garage
  • 990 bike spaces for cyclists
  • Close proximity to the LRT and the central Yonge and Eglinton subway station.

Line 5 is designed with luxury and diversity in mind to accommodate the various lifestyles of its homeowners. From students with roommates to business professionals with new families, the building is designed to incorporate enough diversity to appeal to everyone, making it a promising opportunity for investors.

Location & Neighbourhood

The neighbourhood offers plentiful entertainment options, including museums, cinemas, hip bars, restaurants, and a line of parks (Sherwood Park included). It boasts a near-perfect (92/100) Walk Score, but it also offers numerous transit opportunities.

Line 5 is equipped with an Uber-friendly ride share lane, and the development is a close distance to bus stops and Zip Car stations. However, the piece-de-resistance is the new transit project that is underway. The Eglinton Crosstown LRT will make travel into and out of the city seamless and convenient, and the Mount Pleasant LRT Station will be located only one block away from Line 5. That convenience looks to boost an already excellent Transit Score of 89/100.

Transit will also offer students seamless travel into the city’s major university campuses (University of Toronto, Ryerson University, and OCAD), making Line 5 as ideal a location for students as it is for young professionals and entrepreneurs.

While the neighbourhood already offers plentiful access to entertainment and amenities (grocery stores, shopping, theatres, etc.), it is also expected to flourish as more developments crop up in anticipation of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, making Yonge and Eglinton a central transit hub and one of the hottest neighbourhoods in town for the individuals who want to get the most (and the highest investment) out of their modern lifestyle.

Yonge and Eglinton is the highest ranked neighbourhood community in the GTA, according to a 2017 survey performed by Toronto Life, and there has never been a better time to invest in a neighbourhood, lifestyle, and property that offers so much potential.
