Famous Fortnite Streamer Ninja is Leaving Twitch
Recently one of the biggest names in the gaming community, Tyler Blevins- more prominently known as Ninjaworldwide, left Twitch. Ninja was mostly known for playing the battle royale game, Fortnite. It was a significant incident and surprised many people because Ninja was known everywhere as the face of Twitch. It should be noted that Ninja left Twitch to join up its rival platform Mixer that is owned by Microsoft.
While it was unexpected to many people, Ninja, however, took this in a very satirical way. Ninja made this move as an NBA transfer, a big player being traded off to an opposition team, which it can be seen as too. He also uploaded a video stating how happy he was to be able to return to his roots of streaming career.
There is no official information regarding the money factor, as everyone can only speculate how much money is actually involved. Even the most subscribed YouTuber PewDiePie commented on the situation in a recent video stating that there must be a lot of money involved. Given how big of a profile Ninja has, the amount must be in millions if talking realistically. The deal will undoubtedly be a considerable profit-earning one for Microsoft as Ninja is loved and followed by a massive number of people. So taking him into their platform would undoubtedly give them a significant amount of viewers too.
Twitch, who is currently owned by Amazon, is the most prominent streaming website on the Internet. However, this move by Microsoft is bound to give them some competition. As Ninja brought in enormous number of clicks and views to the streaming website, this must be a massive blow. However, Twitch is a really crowded place, where anyone who wants to start in streaming goes. So a veteran like Ninja leaving the website might even allow some new faces to emerge into the limelight now.

Due to a hike in Ninja’s popularity, he has to regularly travel worldwide and sign brand deals, which did not allow him to do what he was famous for, streaming. He also hosted the new year’s celebration at the Times square. So now this move by Ninja will surely provide him some time and space, and he will be returning to his roots of streaming.
It is speculated that Ninja might have been asked by Microsoft to stream regularly on Mixer, as it must have been a huge deal to get him to move here. It could be daily or even weekly as long as he does stream regularly it will roll in views for Microsoft.
