The process of designing a logo and branding it for recognition
Are you stuck with the idea of creating a brand and logo design? Initially, it might look easy to build a logo for your company but when you start to dive deeper into the process you will be confronted with the hardships. It is one of the hardest things to create in the designing world as a logo is a signature of a company nothing can be compromised while working on it.
Working as a logo and branding designer for some years now has given me the intuition to work vehemently on different kinds of designs and needs. Ask yourself a question which will make you understand the importance of the logo. Have you ever seen or visualised a bigwig brand without a unique logo? There is none. Hence, you can at once understand the integrity of a perfectly designed logo. A logo has the potentiality to create an impression in the mind of customers that in return recoils ever now and then when the same design is spotted anywhere.
This makes perfect sense why you should be working blatantly to create an exceptional identity of yourself. There are certain ways to build a logo and even I follow them to reach the correct spot. Right from the commencement, you need to have a clear idea of what you are looking forward to establishing.
How do I start working on a logo?
Before creating a logo for a company, there is specific information required for smooth understanding. I would like to garner as much information as accessible from my client and his business. The first question that I ask all of my clients is why he is looking for a logo. The client should we well aware of the fact that a logo is an identity and hence should have an underlying objective otherwise it is vague. The logo should be able to define the brand identity that means it should be unique at all cost. I take inspiration from various element both natural and artificial. One can also take the idea from the business itself. After the idea is obtained, the next is competing with the competitors. Your logo should make you stand out from the crowd.
After gathering this information, it is time to select the design type. I take the most time in this phase as I believe in smooth execution. I plan out several different kinds of logos and show them to the client for the final decision. In some instances, I find it smoother to get a logo approved by stating my point of view.
Selecting the colour of a logo is a completely different segment and professionals like me can get confused at times when it comes to selecting the colour combination. It should match the behavior of the business owner and the business as well. For instance, I can use vibrant colour while working on a paint shop logo but it is not going to work with the logo of a steel manufacturing industry.
Keeping these in mind will not only create a logo for a company but do the branding as well.
