Top 10 Parks to Visit in Dubai
There are so many different attractions and events to part in if you are visiting the UAE with your family. The great thing is the UAE offers parks that cater to a wide range of tastes and different ages to help keep the whole family amused. Here we are going to look at a pick of 10 of the best.
1.Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark
Let us start with this Atlantis Aquaventure Dubai. Just from the name alone, you can tell you are in for a real treat! Not only do you have plenty of water-based rides and slides for thrill-seekers to get involved with, but there are also regular dolphin shows, surf riding spots, a private beach line and over 15 eating establishments all included.
2. Wild Wadi Water Park
Wild Wadi Park in Dubai is an outstanding option when it comes to water parks. Why? Well, this park offers more than 30 exciting rides, but it also offers more laid-back alternatives for those looking for a more relaxing water-based experience, with Breakers Bay's waves being the biggest wave pool in the Middle East. Juha's Journey lazy river is also there that you can softly float through, this park caters for children very well, with plenty of kid-friendly areas.
3.Burj Park
Not far from Dubai Mall, Burj Park is an excellent area to spend some peaceful moments watching the world go by in a beautiful setting. You have walking areas with wide footpaths and plenty of space for cyclers, in a lovely designed and kept park.
4. Zabeel Park
Now, this is a very large park the area includes a bicycle track, a play zone, a kid’s education from entertainment spot and a lake with boat hire. There is also a small train that goes around the park, giving visitors a nice alternative to taking a walk or bike ride around Zabeel Park.
5. Dubai Butterfly Garden
A lovely way to spend your September in Dubai would be to check out the Butterfly Garden. This is an indoor park and the largest one ever to boot! The garden is situated at the Dubai Miracle Garden where you can see all sorts of quirky floral sculptures (but is only open during the winter, the butterfly park is open all year round). This butterfly park offers an amazing chance to see some beautiful species of butterflies, and there is also a butterfly museum and flower park for your enjoyment.
6. Al Mamzar Park
On the border of Dubai and Sharjah, Al Mamzar is a lovely park full of gorgeous greenery and contains a range of private beach huts that can be hired, as well as a swimming pool. There are also some more shaded areas where you will be able to spend some no doubt much needed moments in a slightly cooler area/
7, Jumeirah Beach Park, Dubai
You may also be interested to visit Jumeirah Beach Park which was Dubai’s first beach park and is an excellent site for the Dubai coastline. The park has barbecue areas, volleyball courts a swimming pool and a children’s playground giving plenty of entertainment value for the whole family.
8. Khalifa Park, Abu Dhabi
As we as being home to a popular attraction for kids called the Murjan Splash park, there is a Maritime Heritage museum which includes a tunnel ride that follows the history of the country from before the Union to modern Dubai, a ride lasting 20 minutes.
9. Saqr Park, Ras Al Khaimah
For a slightly different type of park Saqr Park is a popular choice. Not only do you have the beautiful picturesque scenery that you will likely have come to associate with Dubai Parks, you have some amusement rides to enjoy but also table tennis tables and a video games arcade.
10. Zaabeel Park, Dubai
Zabeel park is one of the Dubai tourist attractions. It is Dubai’s first technology-based park where Wi-Fi access is available throughout, and on showcase are exhibits on alternative energy, communication and other areas of technology. Not just that, there are plenty of activities to sample such as minigolf, a skateboard and BMX track, a cricket pitch and a 4.3km jogging track. Plenty to keep you busy and fit!
