The method of connecting Google Home to Wi-Fi for the first time
  • Firstly, go to the Google Home application if it is not open.
  • Then, choose or else enter the Google ID, which you want to connect with the Google Home device.
  • If asked, turn on Bluetooth of your Android or iOS gadget.
  • After that, press on NEXT.
  • If you are able to listen to any voice from the speaker, then press YES in the application.
  • Next, choose the place of the device from the choices given.
  • Then, put a name for the speaker.
  • After that, select the Wi-Fi that you wish to connect Google Home too.
  • Then, press on Next.
  • After that, enter the Wi-Fi network password.
  • Next, click on Connect.
The method of connecting Google Home to New Wi-Fi
  • Firstly, view the Google Home application on the device.
  • Then, press on the device option. It shall be placed towards the upper right-hand side corner of the display.
  • Next, search the device that you want to connect to Wi-Fi and press on its menu options placed towards the top right side corner of the speaker’s card.
  • After that, choose the Settings option.
  • Then, move downwards.
  • Next, click Wi-Fi.
  • Note if you are presently connected to the Wi-Fi, then you should choose ‘Forget This Network.’
  • After that, select the ‘Forget Wi-F Network.’
  • Next, whenever the network has been forgotten, you shall be taken to the app’s home screen. Press the device option for one more time.
  • Then, Choose Add New Device.
  • After that, go back to the Google Home application. Note that the speaker shall be able to make a sound now. If you are able to listen to this sound, choose YES in the application.
  • Next, choose the place of your device from the given list.
  • Then, put a name for the speaker.
  • After that, select the Wi-Fi that you want to connect Google Home too.
  • Then, press on Next.
  • After that, put the Wi-Fi password.
  • Next, click on Connect.
  • Lastly, if you get successful, you shall be able to view a Connected notification.
