The time when the need for a vehicle or your dream of a vehicle comes true at the same time question arise about its security. Well GPS tracking system enables you to know where your vehicle is and moving and help you to detect whether it is tried to be stolen or not. If you find that there is the chance of your vehicle theft what should be your next step to prevent it and how you can do it. The GPS tracking device installed in your device if connect with relay operation it will be the best anti-theft object.

How does the relay connect with the car?

At first we need to find out that which one is the main fuel/battery wire, then we need to cut the main wire and make a connection via relay, and after that you can check it via web platform that fuel/power cut off system is working or not, If vehicle is running more than 40kmph then it won’t work, it will work when vehicle moving speed is less than 30kmph. If a relay is applied it allows reducing the chance of interior damage if something is failing and short. If the device wiring comes with relay, it allows the power to run from the battery.

Now with enhancing vehicle safety, we need to aware that we should not void the vehicle warranty. Sometimes we hear that any type of change or upgrading anything will void the manufacturer’s warranty but the reality is until the OEM parts are not harmed or damaged, no warranty is void.

So, is installing relay void the vehicle's warranty? Yes, relay voids the warranty. On the selling time, all the vehicles come with a year warranty and vehicle warranty comes with its wiring. Within this warranty period no wiring cutting, wiring punching and hampering any wiring kit of the vehicle is allowed. The relay connects with the vehicle’s battery which is an OEM part that made directly by the manufacturer to fit the specification of a particular model. If it is not come under any damage by your end the warranty terms are working. As you hamper the wiring, punch the battery wire to connect the relay from our end it void the warranty. After connecting the relay if the vehicle damaged in an accident the manufacturer does not take responsibility. The relay can hamper the battery function also. When the battery wire is connecting with relay wire it drains the battery.

Here we suggest installing the relay after the warranty period. To relay the electrical wires cut, it will only hamper the warranty on electrical components and not the other parts like the engine, suspension, brakes and so on.
