There is no upper age limit for the test as long as you’re 17 years of age while answering the exam.JIPMER Exam PatternThe JIPMER is conducted via offline computer exam in the University for their Post Graduate Program. In 2019, the exam was help on the 2nd of June and in 2020 the exam has been scheduled for the second week of June. The exam is split into 5 different sections such as

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology (Botany or Zoology)
  • English and Comprehension and
  • Logic and Quantitative Ability
You have 2 and a half hour to complete the 200 multiple choice questions from the topics mentioned above. The questions are selected based of the syllabus covered in 11th and 12th standard for the subjects.The questions are split into 5 sections with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany or Zoology) having 60 questions each, while English comprehension and quant ability have 10 questions each.You get 4 marks for a correct answer and a negative mark for every wrong answer.
