  • Try to work only on flat level or surfaces. Also, ensure that you have placed proper support device or chokes under the saw to prevent the saw from moving or falling while working under saw;
  • For specific information about the engine use, you can refer to the engine manual provided by Concrete Cutter Manufacturer. Make sure that you have checked the engine oil level before operation. Also, lubricate the bearings every four hours of use and clean the air filters daily;
  • It is important to perform a thorough visual inspection of the machine before starting any operation. Ensure that the fasteners are secure and tight. Moreover, also, look for the signs of any fatigue, metal cracking, damage of electrical wiring and fuel lines. Check the bearings to ensure proper guards are secure and in place;
  • Inspect the belts properly for tension before operation. It is important to re-tension the belt on new equipment after first four house of use. Replace any damaged, worn out or stretched belts with the new ones;
  • Loosen the motor mounting hardware to tension the belt. Push the motor towards the rear of the saw or on the models with the help of belt tensioning adjustment until the belt is tight. Also, the engine mounting hardware should be re-torqued;
