The MHT-CET or Common Entrance Test is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education. The degree courses of the following streams are mainly accounted for in this entrance exam: Engineering, Pharmacy. As per the changes made by DTE Maharashtra, MH CET will be conducted in online CBT mode in multiple shifts. MHT CET is conducted as a state-level entrance test every year to offer admission into B.E/B.Tech, B. Pharmacy and Agriculture courses in various government and private institutions situated in the state of Maharashtra. Since the announcement stressed on the fact that MHT CET would be on par with JEE Main, most students perceived it to be tough since JEE Main is one of the toughest entrance exams in the country. Highlights of MHT CET 2020
- MHT-CET is Maharashtra Common Entrance Test which is conducted every year by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashta.
- Through the merit list of the above Entrance Exam, admission process is held for the following Under Graduate courses:
- Admission to First Year of Four Year Full Time Degree Courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy AND
- First Year of Six Year Full Time Degree Course in Pharm.D
- This Entrance Exam is normally conducted in the 1st week of May every year.

MHT CET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for MHT CET 2020 the following eligibility is needed:
Nationality: Applying candidates must be Indian nationals.
Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 level exam or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in the qualifying exam.
