Is Your Arlo Base Station Offline? Tips to solve it
The Arlo camera offers the most exceptional security with advanced features. But sometimes you see that the Arlo base station offline issue arrives.
Check the internet on the base station that will tell you the status of the base station.
- When Internet LED is solid green, then the base station is connected with the internet.
- Golden LED indicates that the base station disconnected to the internet
- If you are not available with your base station location, then fill the credential for Arlo login through a browser by visiting the Arlo app or website.
- If you can monitor the video feed from each Arlo wireless camera, your base station connected with the internet
- In case you find error notification such as Arlo base station offline or other instead of video footage, then your base station is not getting an internet connection.

Check the internet wire.
Make sure that the internet wire connected at the backside of the base station. Moreover, it is also worth noting that you are using Ethernet wire that attached to the base station and power switch.
Check your power adapter.
The power adapter must securely connect to the base station and power outlet. If you are not getting the power signal in the base station, then plug it properly on both ends. Ensure the internet connectivity try router reset process and try again.
Restart your Arlo base station
In the case you want to do an Arlo setup, it is necessary to have an online base station with proper syncing with the camera. Turn off the power switch and take out the power adapter for a few minutes. Now reconnect the power connecter to the power outlet. The base station will hardly take 1 to 2 minutes to start. When Power LED and Internet LED blink in intense green color, then your base station is connected with the internet and ready to work. The amber LED means, repeat the process.
Inspect the DHCP settings and client list present on your router
The DHCP settings should be enabled, and there is also a customer list that appears as IP addresses to the base station. You need to check your router settings, and if you don’t know about the DHCP setting, then you can dial the Arlo Support phone number.
Verify that Ports 443 and 80 are open on your router
If you can’t handle the internet issue, you should consult the IT professionals. They will provide firewall protection software. The Arlo base station generally cannot connect with third-party servers. You need to discuss this issue with the IT department and internet service provider to deal with a third party server issue. Stay in touch with the IT team to ensure that Ports 443 and 80 are open on your router.
Attempt a factory reset
If nothing of the above steps helps in troubleshooting the base station offline issue, then you should try a factory reset.
