  1. Login Gmail account, click the gear like icon that sits on top right corner
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select the option of Labs from the given list of options

Message Recall

  • You need to go to Gmail Labs to enable the ‘Undo Send’
  • Now go to the Time Period and customize it to reset it to 30 seconds that is available in General Tab
  • In the ‘Settings’ scroll down and go to ‘Undo Send’ feature

Now you need to recall the message that you have sent for this as you will see a link of ‘Undo’ after sending the message. This will be indicated like a yellow box that is hovering at the top of the message. Click this link within 30 seconds of sending your e-mail and you will be able to unsend it.

Seeing Unread Messages

For those who are more interested in tabbing they can avail a feature offered by Gmail Labs. The display of unread message will appear overlaid on the logo just above the tab. This is called the Unread Message icon to be precise. Here you will be able to see unread messages that are in your Inbox.

The feature of Preview Pane is something that will give you message preview. The best part is that you get easy access to toggle. This means you can turn the mode ON or OFF as per your convenience. This means that it is not something automatic rather it is a manual function that you can turn on to suit your requirements.

You will be able to add a mini-calendar to the list of your pre-planned appointments that will help you through with easy access. You just need to turn on this feature. Click the three dots that appear at the left of your Gmail folders to reveal this option.
