Reasons Why Your Company Needs to Embrace Video Conferencing Now

Two years ago in the conference room we praised the growth of video technology. We showed how the way workers want to connect drastically changed and we highlighted the large video technology market in businesses. Video conferencing, after all, significantly reduces travel time and costs while protecting your organization against unexpected events. Best of all, video conferencing adds much value by improving the communication capabilities of your organization.

Today, even we couldn't guess the global video conference market has risen to heights. In 2018, the global video conference market reached USD $3.02 billion, according to Fortune Business Insights. The estimated $6.37 billion is now projected to double by 2026. In the forecast period, this would show a compound annual growth rate of 9.8%.

These are reasons why video lectures are superior to audio conferences — and often even more effective than face-to - face conferences.

1. Far more engaging is video conferencing as audio conferencing

Often, you don't have an option and only #audioconferencing must be the norm. Yet "video-conferencing is indeed a game changer — and it should be the norm" to reach a higher degree of collaboration.

When a call is made, the video will "change the feeling and mark" You can see and be heard by the participants. Any sense of distance is taken away. There are no more "out of sight." There is no more illusion. Participants are less likely to "zone out" or to do several activities, as they do on an audioconference, but instead maintain "virtual eye contact."

2. Meetings are More Likely to Be Held "Anywhere"

The cubicles have been long gone. Open offices, collective furnishings, a biophilic design, flexible offices: these are the characteristics of modern working environments. As the idea of what the traditional workplace is updated, the concept of the standard conference room is updated for all people. We have 'huddle rooms,' where small groups can meet for shorter periods of time much less formally and split the old motive of the conference hall. We also hold conferences in non traditional spaces – for example, if proper technology is enabled, someone's personal office may suddenly become a meeting place.

The commonly adopted use of integrated business systems such as Office 365, which includes Microsoft teams, has encouraged this change to a new working environment. Unified Communications (UC) approaches that combine software and hardware for ease of collaboration and connectivity are the product of barrier-free contact for all, including remote team members, suppliers and partners.

3. Make Your Workspace Future-Ready

As you can see, we have dramatically changed the way we meet and work together. Such massive, sterile rooms are blurred into oblivion with their rectangular chairs, poor light and beige carpets. Instead, advanced display and video conference solutions are available – all of which are made possible by technology that meets the requirements currently demanded of employees.

Cooperation, improved technology, efficient integration and a unified communications strategy are common denominators. All that remains to be done now is to act on these new trends.
