Beyoncé and Jay-Z are wedding crashers
Beyoncé and Jay-Z crash a wedding in Italy
Now don't everyone get married on purpose just for a chance at being wedding-crashed by a celebrity, but really, a couple in Italy had an impromptu visit from Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who were vacationing in Portofino at the time. The singer and her rapper husband were on a casual stroll when they decided to pop in at a local church, before realising that a wedding was going on.
We can only imagine the excitement that ensued – sure, it's the bride and groom's special day, but how can anyone complain about having the power couple make an appearance at your wedding? Clearly, the bride was only too thrilled and even managed to take pictures with Beyoncé. The lucky woman!
Speaking of Italy...
Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka tied the knot... in Italy
Picture: 2014 wedding dressesAbout time! Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka have been with each other since 2004, had a pair of twins – Gideon and Harper (born via a surrogate mother) – in 2010, and announced their engagement in 2011 (although the proposal was secretly made five years earlier). And now, they are (finally) happily married. Neil revealed the happy news on Twitter.
Aren't they the cutest? They even wore matching Tom Ford tuxedos for the ceremony. Congratulations, you two!
Miley Cyrus to debut her first art collection at Jeremy Scott's SS15 show
Remember that Miley Cyrus and Jeremy Scott collab we were buzzing about? It turns out that Miley is indeed working with the designer, and will present her very first art collection at his New York Fashion Week show on 10 September.
The 'collection' looks like she visited Toys "R" Us armed with superglue, but hey, art right? That said, it's still very Miley while managing to not veer off Jeremy's own audacious personality. There's also a matter of this photo below. We can't tell if that display at the back is also a part of the collection or if it's just another normal Miley thing.
Denzel Washington would like to be the next James Bond
Reddit hosted an "Ask Me Anything" session starring Denzel Washington, and the million-dollar question was "Would you be interested in being the next James Bond?" Was that a fan or a casting director in disguise? Either way, the 59-year-old actor was only too excited about the question.
"The next James Bond? They better hurry up! Yes I would! Who's doing James Bond now..Daniel Craig! Did they shoot another one? Everybody should tweet Denzel is James Bond! Send it to the studio! We start the Denzel is Bond campaign today!" he replied. "James Washington. Denzel Bond!"
Don't get us wrong; we love Denzel and we mean no disrespect, but we believe that the spy franchise should maintain its British heritage. At least, we hope it will (cough, and if ever 007 is to be a beautiful chocolate man, it will be Idris Elba, cough).
Lindsay Lohan gets sued by fashion e-commerce site
The Freaky Friday actress can't catch a break, can she? Threatening to put her career back to the bottom of where it fell before are allegations that the 28-year-old copied tech entrepreneur, Fima Potik's startup fashion app, Spotted Friend.
Lindsay and her brother, Michael Jr. had joined Fima last year to develop the app, which enables users to shop visual closets belonging to friends and celebrities. The founder's beef with the Lohan siblings started when they began working on Vigme, a very similar app, last month. LiLo, Michael Jr. and their business partner, Christopher Roth have all been sent a cease-and-desist letter from Fima.
However, Lindsay's lawyer responded to the suit, saying that "Allegations of any impropriety in Lindsay Lohan's business relationship concerning this Web site are inaccurate and clearly designed to capitalise on her worldwide recognition as a fashion icon." Yeah. Okay.
