Nestled in the Chiltern Hills, not far from the A41 and M1, grade I-listed Ashridge House lies in the midst of 190 acres of landscaped gardens and parklands. Once the home of Henry VIII during hunting season as well as Elizabeth I, Ashridge is a multi-award winning venue that offers something unique. Built in the grand neo-Gothic style, this regal mansion house delivers stylish interiors with beautiful detailing at every turn.

The Main Hall’s cantilevered staircase is the perfect place to steal a dramatic entrance. Often used as the location for the wedding ceremony the Main Hall is an exquisite space with the most tasteful furnishings and sumptuous architecture.

Another popular space to exchange your vows is in The Old Library with its fan vaulted ceiling, glittering chandeliers, elaborate plasterwork and a south-facing terrace for sensational views across the Italian Garden.

Like many other royal homes, Ashridge House has its own stunning chapel. Kimberly and Adam chose to exchange their vows in the chapel surrounded by its fine wood carvings, huge stained glass windows and fan-vaulted ceilings for a truly romantic wedding ceremony.

Before the ceremony, the Duke’s Sitting Room is a Bridal Preparation Room decked out in a style that you won’t find anywhere else. Festooned with plus decor, grand windows and a secret walkway to the Main Hall this is a plush place that you and your bridesmaids will cherish.

For your wedding reception the Repton Hall is a lavish space with exquisite styling and plenty of room. Alternatively, the Lady Marian Alford Room where Kimberly and Adam held their reception, is adorned with an extravagant ceiling embellished with gold leaf, marble fireplaces and fluted columns.

Across the hall, the Ante Room provides the ideal space to display your wedding cake in front of its divine arched windows, with its twinkling chandeliers and decorative ceiling overhead.
