20 Minutes Winter Green Salad Recipe you Need to Try at Home

Undoubtedly, the healthiest meal that you can have for weight loss is a salad. You can make it full of nutrients by adding nuts, vegetables, and fruits to your salad. Because all these will make your meal light but healthy.

Most people think that they can take this prominent weight loss meal only in summer. Because the summer season is considered as the season of green salads but you also need to explore the wintertime version of salad too. It’s worth exploring. Because vegetables available during winter are darker green and hearty that makes salad nutrient-rich.

If you are a restaurant owner and want to add some delicious salads to your menu, you can do it easily. But make sure you store greens properly. You can buy a display fridges for Sale if you don’t have one already for proper storage. As you would need more space.

You can get thick-leaved greens like spinach. You can top your salads with it and I am sure it will make your salad more delicious than the one you get with lettuce. You can have a number of options for selecting ingredients to make a salad in winters. Just go to the supermarket, buy some greens, toss them with some ingredients in your pantry and you are done.

If you are making a salad at home, all you need are some root veggies, toss them in olive oil and then simply roast them. Add kale leaves, lemon juice, black paper, and Parmesan to get a healthy salad. Green Salad is fiber-rich and a good way to reduce weight. What I Usually Do?

Usually, I cut apples into cubes, roast them quickly in salt and rosemary. Then for protein, I add leftover turkey, almonds for crunch, and some tiny bits of tomatoes. You can add other ingredients you have in your pantry especially, the greens. So, swap the ingredients and try different versions of salads.

Ingredients

You need about 3 cups of apple cubes, fresh rosemary, 5 cups of spinach, and ½ cup chopped tomatoes. Moreover, you need 1 ½ cup white meat cooked, ¼ cup almonds, olive oil, and ½ teaspoon kosher salt. For Pumpkin Vinaigrette, you need 1/4 cup of pumpkin puree and water, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, and olive oil 1 tablespoon each. Additionally, you need 1 tablespoon of minced salt and half tablespoon of black pepper.

Instructions

The first step is to preheat the oven to 425 °F. Then on a parchment-line baking tray put the cubed apples and spray them with olive oil. Then sprinkle minced salt and rosemary and toss them gently. Make sure your apple cubes get a good coat. Stop baking when the edge starts turning golden. It will take almost 10-12 minutes.

Remove the apple cubes from the oven and prepare the vinaigrette. To make the vinaigrette, place the ingredients of the vinaigrette in a small bowl and whisk olive oil into it.

Assembling

To assemble, first place spinach and then top it with roasted apples, almonds, and chicken. Drizzle with vinaigrette and serve.
