UGC NET 2021 Admit Card: Steps to Download NTA UGC NET Admit Card

UGC NET is conducted twice a year for selecting the candidates to the Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) posts in Indian universities and colleges. A candidate has to download the UGC NET admit card from the NTA website in order to appear for the examination. The admit card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to their satisfying the eligibility terms & conditions. A candidate has to download his/her admit card and appear for the examination at the allotted centre on date and shift as indicated in their admit card. Candidates have to note that admit cards will not be sent by post. A candidate cannot enter the UGC NET without the admit card.

Steps To Download The UGC NET 2020 Admit Card

Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA – https://www.nta.ac.in/

Step 2: Go to the ''College/University Teaching & Fellowship Exam''

Step 3: Click on the ''UGC-NET Website & Registration''

Step 4: A new page will be displayed

Step 5: The direct link to download the UGC NET admit card is available on the homepage

Step 6: Enter the application number, password and security pin

Step 7: The UGC NET admit card will be displayed

Step 8: Download the UGC NET admit card 2021 and take a printout of the same.

Details On UGC NET Admit Card

UGC NET admit card contains all the key information related to a candidate such as a name, father's name, category, photograph, signature and candidate's correspondence address. It will also contain the exam-related information such as the address of the exam centre, exam date, exam time, opted subject and its code.

Documents Required To Take The UGC NET Exam

Candidates to have to carry any one of the following documents along with the UGC NET admit card and one passport size photograph (the same one which is used in the UGC NET application form) while appearing for the exam.

  5. PWD certificate (if applicable)

Check Error in Downloading UGC NET Admit Card 2021

UGC NET 2021 Admit Card Dates

Candidates will download the UGC NET admit card 2021 from the website. The admit cards can be downloaded from April 2021.

The examination will be commenced from 2nd May 2021. Candidates will access their UGC NET hall ticket 2021 only through online mode.

It is instructed to the candidates to carefully check their venue and time of the exam to appear in the examination on time. Do not forget to carry a photo identity card along with the printout of the online Admission card.

General Instructions

Candidates should check the given instructions before the day of the exam.

  • The UGC NET 2021 Admission Card is the important and compulsory document to enter into the examination centre.
  • Candidates are advised to re-check the all details carefully which are printed on the admit card.
  • In case of any discrepancy printed on the UGC NET 2021 Hall Ticket, should contact with the competent authority.
  • Check your name, father’s name, exam centre address, your photograph and signature, exam date and timing, etc, are correctly spelled or not.
  • Take an extra printout of the admit card in case one will lose.
  • Do not bring any type of electronic item or study material such as books or notes.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to write any question from the Test Booklet on the Admission Card or on any other paper.
