Also called the Gateway of UP (Uttar Pradesh) Ghaziabad is a part of the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi. One of the most important cities in Uttar Pradesh, Ghaziabad is a well-planned industrial town, with good connectivity by road and railway. Today it has emerged as a prime educational and commercial hub. The city is divided by the Hindon River, and is the second largest and fastest growing city in Uttar Pradesh after Kanpur.
The city also has a bit of a bad reputation the pollution and bad law and order. The crime rate in the region is very high which has impacted many industries in the region. National Highway 24 is one of the most important roads running along Ghaziabad.
The government has proposed to widen the highway from six to eight lanes. Recently a great deal of development has been seen along this highway. Top builders like SARE, Mahagun, Ansal etc. have their multistorey apartment projects in the area. Many buyers have been seen investing in builder floor in Ghaziabad and the rest have been investing in apartments for gain rentals.
