How can you get cheap venues for a Frozen Birthday Party?
With Frozen and Frozen 2 being so popular amongst children, you'll likely have to consider throwing a Frozen themed birthday party at some point.
Having a Frozen birthday party on a budget can seem challenging.
The biggest expense can likely be the venue.
Finding a good venue for your party can get pretty expensive if you aren’t careful.
Luckily, there are a few great venues you can use for your Frozen party that are cheap (or free).
Look into these party locations for your celebration to save money on venue expenses.
- Your home or yard. The easiest way to save money on your birthday party is to host it at your home. Simply decorate your house or yard with Frozen inspired decorations and hold the event at your house. When using your own home as the venue for your party, you won’t have to worry about booking fees, which will give you a chance to spend more money on other elements of your party.
- The home of a friend or family member. If you feel like your house or yard isn’t big enough to hold your party, consider asking a friend or family member to host the event. You can save money on your party expenses and enjoy time with your loved one at the same time.
- Parks. Depending on the time of year you’ll be holding your party, an outdoor location is a great option. Parties held during warm months can take place in a park, allowing you to have a budget-friendly party at a location other than your home. When planning your park party, make sure to contact the park’s office or city hall to find out the rules and regulations surrounding park rentals. Some towns charge a small fee for renting the space and others require you to file a permit for an event. That’s why it’s a good idea to plan ahead so you’ll have time to make the proper arrangements if you plan on hosting your party in a public location.
- Community center. If your party will be held during the winter months or you just want a cheap option for an indoor venue, consider your local community center. Most centers can be rented for a small fee, allowing you to save money on a venue without worrying about holding your party in a public space. If the venue is a popular option in your town, make sure to call ahead so you get your party booked on your preferred date before someone else takes your time slot!
- Your church. Another great indoor option to consider for your Frozen party is your church. Most churches have a community room or gathering space they rent out for private events. Contact your church office to see if you can rent the room for your child’s birthday party.
As you can see, there are many cheap options for birthday party venues. Once you've figured out the venue that best fits your situation, the next biggest expense is often food. Start with the venue first and then think about cheap food options.
