1.How much time am I dedicating to speak in English?
One of the major reasons for not improving English skills is that we spend most of our time learning English and not speaking in English.
Learning English is not the same as speaking English!
You may spend time learning grammar rules, watching English movies and music or reading books, but the question is how much time do you spend in implementing the rules that you have learned. How much time do you dedicate to use those vocabulary words that you came across while watching the movie or reading a book?
Imagine, You wish to learn to play guitar. You learn the names of the guitar parts, start to do basic finger exercise & basic guitar riffs. But can you learn to play the guitar without actually playing it?
The theory is important, but Practical is most important.
Remedy to this problem
You must have come across this many times - Spend 30 minutes speaking in English. As you don’t have anyone around you to speak in English, search for an English-speaking partner whom you are comfortable with & someone who can correct all your mistakes while you speak in English. That person can be your close friend or a mentor who can guide you and motivate you to improve your English.

2.How much time have I already spent improving my English?
The key to success is Patience. Success is never overnight. I say this because ‘Learning to speak in English is a skill that needs time ’.
Just like you learn any other skill, English also requires dedication and enough time & practice. You cannot master it in a month or two.
Practicing is important, but consistency is more important.
Many times people failing to get early results stop practicing or working. Spending weekends on improving your English skills is not a way of improving your skill.
How much time should you spend EACH DAY?
A minimum of 30 minutes should be spent each day on speaking in English. The mistake that you make while learning English is ‘learn English’ & not ‘speak in English’.
If you spend an effective time of 30 minutes speaking in English & if you are able to work on your mistakes during that particular hour, it will be a win-win situation.
3.Are you working on your mistakes?
There is another reason you are not able to see any improvement is - You are not working on your mistakes. This is one of the reasons why even after speaking in English you fail to see a rise in the improvement graph.
