It is believed that Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji held a series of important conversations with Baba Ajita Randhawa. The discussion took place when Guru Nanak returned from his tour Udasi in 1515.
Dera Baba Nanak:
It is situated 45 km away from Gurdaspur. It was built to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev Ji who lived here for 12 years. A lot of pilgrimages can be seen flocking here in the second week of January on the eve of Maghi. The place is situated on the bank of the Ravi River.
Sarji Sahib:
A well of Baba Ajita Randhawa was constructed here which now has become a Baoli. It is believed that Guru Nanak Dev ji used to meditate here and preach to his followers near this well. Baba Ajita Randhawa gained knowledge on Sikhism from Guru Nanak at Sarji Sahib.
