What is Canada Immigration Process?

Canada immigration process is a process that one follows while migrating to Canada from their native country. Given below are the steps that are to be followed while applying for Canada Immigration from India.

1. Check eligibility

The first step is to check your Educational Credential Assessment. You must verify your credentials first. You can look for the following points:

a. You must have 1+ years of work experience

b. Job code/ NOC job code must be available (category 0,A,B)

c. You must have a minimum language test score

d. You must have enough funds in the bank that can support your stay in Canada

e. You should be able to convince the immigration officer that you will leave Canada once your visa expires

2. Express of Interest

Create and submit your Canada Express Entry profile online. You will just have to fill in some basic details, as asked in the form. Some of the documents required for profile creation are:

a. A valid travel document

b. Language test results

c. Proof of Canadian education (if any) or an ECA report

d. Provincial Nomination (if any)

e. Written job offer letter from eligible Canadian employer

f. Proof of enough funds in the bank

3. Get invited for pool

You are sent an Invitation to Apply based on your ranking on the profile submitted. You need to score at least 67 points out of 100 to be eligible. The points are calculated based on the following factors:

a. Age

b. Education

c. Work experience

d. Adaptability

e. Amount of work experience

f. Language test score

4. Submit your PR visa application

After you have received the invitation, it is now time to submit your application along with all the documents. This needs to be done within 90 days else your application will get rejected.

c. Proof of funds in bank

d. Birth Certificate

e. Use of a representative form

f. Common law union form

g. Marriage certificate (if applicable)

5. Visa Approval

After you have successfully submitted your application along with other documents, wait for the approval from the Canadian offcials. Once you have submitted the application and if everything goes right, you will get your Canada PR withing aximum of 6 months.
