Home Is Where The Heart Is!
Everybody wants and needs a home that they can go to where they feel happy, safe, and secure. No matter what life throws at you, even it is just a bad day at work, it is the best feeling when you go home to your own happy place that is also a comfortable sanctuary.
Everybody's idea of a happy home is unique. Some may like a warm, cosy place in an old house. For others, it is a noisy, chaotic place full of children. Or maybe you feel great in a modern, minimalist home with no clutter.
What is common amongst everybody is that you need to feel safe and secure.
At Safe Simple Secure in Edinburgh, we aim to help our clients feel safe and secure at all times by installing the latest technology in house security. We only ever recommend security and safety systems that will benefit the client. We don't recommend products that are unnecessary or overkill.
So where do we start?
The most common and effective security system in a home is a burglar alarm. Seeing that a house has a burglar alarm can be enough for a potential intruder to walk past your home and move onto somewhere else that has no security. A basic wireless burglar alarm can be installed for an affordable price and once armed will be set off by someone entering your home. This is usually enough for the burglar to make a run for it.
New modern alarms can also be connected to your smartphone where you can manage, set and view your system. This means you will know if the alarm has been triggered wherever you may be.
If you live in an area that has had many burglaries or you just wish for extra security we can also install home CCTV. There are many benefits of CCTV including being able to catch burglars and provide evidence for the police. You can also view the camera feed from your phone.
If you live in a flat, have a locked gate to get access to your home, or have difficulty answering your door, then we recommend installing a door access system. As technology has improved it is becoming more common for people to choose a video door entry system. The benefit of this is that you can actually see the person at your door or gate before allowing them access to your home. If for example, you are elderly you can let friends and family in without actually going to your door.
We can't forget safety in a home. Fire is by far the most destructive and disruptive cause of damage to your home. It is possibly one of the most catastrophic events a building is likely to experience and carries devastation not just to the property, but to the occupants too. If you don't have a smoke alarm that meets the current legal requirements we will recommend that you get one installed.
