People you actually care get least time out of your life

When was the last time you had frank chit-chat with your family or hung out with them?

If it’s been more than 2 weeks since you had last time, you’re losing on the purpose of life and thus a future. We live a life with a purpose and most part of our lives is spent doing something for others. Earning hell lots of money but getting no time to spend with family or our beloved ones gets us in a black hole. You may be doing best at your work, earning all the appreciation and riches but what’s the use if not shared with loved ones. By keeping yourself close to people who care about stops depression from taking over your mind and body. You must know depression and pessimism keeps you away from social relationships and thus increases chance of living a purpose less life.

Imagine a future: You, having a Rolls Royce, having billion-backed- bank statement, huge villa at Beverly hill, but no one to share thoughts, feelings, and views with, will you subscribe to this future? Well, I would definitely not. Moreover, sometimes, best of the advice comes from your mother or father; no matter if you stand as CEO of any multinational. Once you start looking at the things through this perspective, you will realize importance of social relationships and, moreover, ensure yourself of depression free life.

Your diet lacks healthy ingredients

Yes! Your diet does have a relationship to the future! Consumption of junk food, snacks, munchies, and other eateries may excite your taste buds but reduce your life-span. It may not be visible now (if you’re younger than 25), however; people above 30 must have idea what I’m talking about. It starts to appear in terms of diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, and heart attacks in worse case. Moreover, what you eat have a direct impact on how you feel about yourself. Depression may take root once you don’t eat a healthy diet.

Human body is closely aligned to nature. It accepts the naturally produced vegetables, cereals, and fruits more completely than processed food items. You may think of me as a traditionalist, but let me assure you the more you consume green vegetables and fruits the more you feel good about yourself. Healthy stomach leads to healthy lifestyle. Make up healthy diet plan if you want to prevent yourself from the depression and if you wish to live longer (Ofcourse you do).

You have turned more materialistic and less spiritual over the time

Being a materialistic isn’t harmful as long as it doesn’t affect you psychologically. In modern times, we are unconsciously involved in a wild race to become rich, acceptable, and recognized. Worst cases of depression arise because people fail to realize the purpose of life.

Life is much more than earning bugs and becoming filthy rich. You need to live compassionate life and compassion comes from within yourself. Practicing spirituality (yoga, meditation, prayers) brings one not close to his/her God only but also to him/herself. Spirituality allows introspection. Spirituality kills depression, anxiety and makes you feel optimist. Moreover by practicing spirituality, you understand the intrinsic aspects of life which cannot be driven by materialism.

Money can buy you car but not care; you could be prosperous but not piety; you can earn fame but be unacceptable to yourself from inside. Spirituality brings consistency in life and makes prosperous present and future inevitable in real sense.
