The London Evening Standard published their list ahead of Thursday’s annual event, and it saw Amal come in at number four, the highest placing women on the list.

The human rights lawyer who is currently working with the Greek and British governments to secure the return of the Elgin Marbles to Athens, married Hollywood heart-throb George Clooney in a lavish Venetian ceremony in September. The Lebanese lawyer won a scholarship to Oxford before becoming a studying law in New York and becoming a UN advisor.

Prince Harry came in at number seven, and was the only British royal on the list.

The Army captain recently spent the summer organising the first ever Invictus Games, an international event which saw wounded soldiers competing in Olympic-style events.

Fashion designer Victoria Beckham was one of three women who made the top 10, including Amal and Home Secretary Theresa May.

The 40-year-old opened her first flagship store in London this September and the event caused a stir across the capital as hordes of fans and paparazzi eagerly waited for the doors to open, allowing fashionistas to rush in and shop Victoria's Autumn/Winter 2014 collection.

Also on the list are recent Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, Andre Balazs, the restaurateur and hotelier who founded Chiltern Firehouse, and Benedict Cumberbatch.

The 38-year-old actor has found international fame over the last few years thanks to his role as the super-sleuth Sherlock, in the BBC series of the same name. In the last 12 months he has also starred in some of the world’s biggest box office hits including 12 Years A Slave and Star Trek: Into Darknes.

Benedict is hotly tipped to garner an Oscar nomination for his work in the upcoming pic, The Imitation Game, which he premiered at the London Film Festival, and follows World War II code-breaker Alan Turing.

Chris Brown, 25, and Karrueche Tran, 26, were trucking along pretty smoothly all summer following his release from prison. However, after a dramatic Instagram from Karrueche and an equally pointed Instagram video from Chris, it looks like they’re still in the woods. As HollywoodLife.com previously reported EXCLUSIVELY, Karrueche had accused Chris of cheating on her with Jhene Aiko, 26, and we can now EXCLUSIVELY reveal exactly why Karrueche has been distrustful of Chris.

Chris Brown Cheating On Karrueche Tran: The Real Reason She Accused Him

"The situation is over now, but you really can’t blame Karrueche for being on high alert with Chris when it involves another girl," our insider revealed. We’re glad to hear that they’re doing a little better these days, but it looks like she still can’t trust him!

"She’s been in that mess with him many times before and she’ll be damned if he tries to pull another stunt on her again. She’s not going for it."

Regarding Chris’ close friendship with Jhene Aiko, Karrueche "understands they’re friends and all and she’s just trying protect her heart. She’s human, she’s a woman and she knows who women are especially when it comes to Chris Brown.

"Everywhere she’s ever gone with Chris, she sees how other girls are on the prowl like a hungry cat. They don’t even say anything but she can see it in a girl’s eyes.

"So, you really can’t blame her for being overly protective of herself and Chris," our source says. True enough — after all, he was allegedly tossed out of rehab for engaging in inappropriate relations with a female staffer while he was ostensibly still with Kae!

"She feels bad about blowing up on him though. She has apologized but it’s not like she won’t do it again. If she thinks for one second he’s doing something sneaky or out-of-pocket and even feels like she’s lying to him, she’s going to call him out on it," our insider finished.

Well, good for Karrueche! She, like anybody else, deserves to be treated with respect in her relationship.
