And while you can read up on customer reviews in your favorite magazines or online at the retailer website, chances are the most up-to-date information will be on sites like Google Reviews, Yelp, and other review sites that are run by the customers themselves. Here are ten ways to review a business or product rating on Google.

1. Start your Own Website

The best way to review a business is simply by going in person. This allows you to interact with employees and get a feel for how they treat customers. In addition, you will also be able to see if they have any online reviews from past customers. Businesses can claim their profiles on various business rating sites such as Yelp, Google Places, TripAdvisor and Facebook. These profiles allow businesses’ ratings and reviews from previous customers to become searchable by anyone that goes looking for it. You will want to take time before posting your own ratings or reviews of a company so that you have some level of experience with what they provide first-hand before making any claims about them publicly.
