TrailingCrypto Crypto Trading Bots Review – Is It Any Good?
How do you pick your trading bot?
When it comes to making a choice, especially if that choice is supposed to bring an income, you should be guided by decisive arguments and not false marketing promises or chance.
TrailingCrypto is a relatively unknown addition to the industry, so there have been few decisive arguments to settle its status. We’ll try to change that with this review.
TrailingCrypto Review
The fast expansion of the crypto trading industry has brought a great deal of attention with it. Everyone has heard of cryptocurrency and many people have decided to try their hands with crypto trade.
One of the main reasons for this trend is the fact that traders do end up with big wins and some have built entire careers around this digital cash that appeared only a couple of years ago.
So, why wouldn’t they board the train?
What’s often overlooked in crypto trade is that profits, although very possible, are not guaranteed.
Trading bots are tools, not cash-making machines, and everything depends on two factors: individual trading sense and crypto trading bot’s performance.
Bots beat human traders in every sense but one. Bots do not take time off and remain active 24/7. Their response is faster than a blink of the eye and is only capped by your Internet latency.
They don’t suffer from emotional distress, psychological pressure, or indecisiveness. But there’s a catch: bots have no trading brains of their own and have to be told what to do by us, humans.
Here’s the spot that’s a watershed for bots. Translating your thoughts and intentions into a programming code is imperfect and there’s always room for errors.
On the other hand, giving the bot a lot of customizability requires the users to be well-versed in coding just to launch it and navigate all that it can offer.
This balance between performance and ease of use basically represents the ultimate criterion of every trading bot.
So, how does TrailingCrypto solve these issues?
Does it work?
Does it earn money?
Is it safe?
Let’s try to provide some answers here.
What’s TrailingCrypto?
TrailingCrypto is a trading terminal and a trading automation software that is intended to help participants on the market employ some basic and more advanced crypto trading actions, as well as make their own crypto trading bots with certain pre-configured features.
A great deal of effort was given to the simplistic design of its user interface or dashboard.
It immediately becomes evident that Trailing Crypto tries to conform with beginners and those not very experienced or not willing to devote much time in devising their trading strategies from scratch themselves.
TrailingCrypto boasts of more than 25 features that users can include in their trading automation, including Limit Buy/Sell, Trailing Stop Sell, Take Profit, Stop Losses, etc.
Another aspect of TrailingCrypto is a Telegram and email signal bot, which allows users to link their bots to templates provided by others, presumably more experienced traders with good results.
Supported crypto exchanges are Binance, Binance Futures, Bitmex, Bittrex, CEX.IO, Coinex, HitBtc, Huobi Pro, Kucoin, Okex, Polenix, Kraken, and Bitstamp, which includes some of the more popular, so that’s pretty standard.
With its current pitch, TrailingCrypto sounds like a solid, well-rounded bot leaning slightly towards simplistic features and preconfigured approaches, which suits casual traders but does not offer much to seasoned veterans of the industry.
That’s behind the display window, but what’s under the hood? Let’s delve deeper.
Ease of Use
TrailingCrypto is designed to be accessible to most, often at the expense of the more advanced options and the ability to change, tweak, and fine-tune some of the intricate details of trading strategies.
Although not necessarily a handicap, this is indicative of the fact that more experienced daytraders could probably find better alternatives out there.
The features that TrailingCrypto offers come as a standard in the industry, and they are offered as part of most generally established companies.
Designed to be fundamentally simple and easy to wrap one’s mind around, Trailing Crypto tools can be used by newcomers and beginners without too much hassle, and there’s an active blog with exhaustive documentation that can help with the basics.
In other words, when it comes to accessibility, TrailingCrypto has some okay solutions if you’re just starting with crypto trade.
It doesn’t take much time to get used to the design of the site or the functions of various addons to your trading bot.
That said, Trailing Crypto does not offer anything advanced, even in theory, and this makes its users grow out of it pretty soon.
Oh, and there’s more issues with some of the policies the company practices that raise some red flags, but we’ll get to that later.
Top-Rated Crypto Trading Bots
These crypto trading bots have been voted as the best consistently in user ratings across various websites.
First we collated the user review data, then we performed our own tests to ensure 100% legitimacy of the bots.
These are by far the best crypto trading bots on the market today.
Pricing
Apparently, there’s good news – TrailingCrypto has its basic offer come free of charge. So yeah, you can use some of it for free.
How do other bots compete against free bots if they work? Well, there are limitations, of course, as the free plan comes with only 10 open orders, 100 monthly orders, and 15 days order expiry.
The premium plan comes for $7.20 per month, and comes with 250 open orders, 10,000 monthly orders, and 365 days order expiry.
TrailingCrypto offers a free 30-days trial of its premium services on top of the basic plan, so you can have a taste of it before you fully commit.
And there are other, more… questionable ways of getting the premium plan free of charge. Shady marketing policies or innovative methods of gaining traction with the wider web? We’ll save this for the end.
Security
Regarding safety and security, TrailingCrypto fulfills the minimum standard protection available to most other crypto trading automation services.
It holds its site secure with HTTPS and it offers OAuth2 with 2FA (two-factor authentication), which is commendable.
On top of this, TrailingCrypto encourages using API keys for transactions on crypto exchanges. It does not have direct access to your funds, which helps users feel more safe in general.
Also, private data goes through 256-bit encryption before being stored on the website.
Community & Reviews
Almost everything stated above goes in favor of using the TrailingCrypto bot, more or less. However, there are several catches that make us wonder.
First of all, why are there so few verified reviews of TrailingCrypto online?
There are only 3 reviews on Trustpilot.com, all three being obviously ordered with users leaving no other reviews on the site and giving it 5 stars.
Three reviews only for years of active work? Something’s fishy.
The official site’s community page has almost no content, with no comments, no threads, and glaringly few entries. If the bot is good and on top of that, free, why aren’t there more people who use it?
And remember the premium plan and the ways to extend it for free? Apparently, developers have decided to give freebies and "credits" to anyone who agrees to record a promotional video, write an article online, or simply leave a positive review.
This has launched quite a number of false reviews that are obviously written with insincere intentions.
Does a good service need this kind of blatant approach? We think not.
Review Verdict
Frankly speaking, with an abysmally low number of users, honest reviews, and a non-existent reputation, even some much better services would raise too many eyebrows to be recommended in good faith.
TrailingCrypto simply has too little to offer, especially when taking into account some of its more questionable policies.
There are readily available alternatives that do more and with a much greater success rate. Quadency and Bitsgap, for example, have everything that TrailingCrypto offers, and more.
On top of that, there are honest reviews and analyses that confirm the quality of their service.
