Sitting actually puts more strain on your back than standing & many of us work in offices having to be desk-bound for most of the day. If you must sit for long periods of time, it is important to train yourself for good posture habits & an understanding of Ergonomics at the workstation early on to prevent developing neck, back pain, headaches etc

Ergonomics at the workstation is basically nothing but understanding how to use your workstation to your best advantage without stressing your body. This can be achieved by using a combination of the right products aligned correctly in your workspace, increasing awareness of body posture, taking frequent breaks & doing frequent stretching.
