What is Amazon Web Services EC2?
EC2 is the primary computational component of Amazon's technological stack, and it is one of the company's many services. In reality, EC2 makes developers' lives simpler by offering safe, scalable computational resources in the cloud. It substantially simplifies the process of scaling up or down, can be connected with a variety of different services, and comes with a pay-as-you-go model.
Notifying users about a newsletter is an example of a use case.Consider how happy your customers are with your goods. How would you inform them of the additional services you provide?
That's where Amazon Web Services (AWS) comes in. You should be able to perform all you want easily using Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS), Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), and Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3). For example, you'll be able to inform users whenever the firm publishes a newsletter.
Here's how to do it:1. Create an Amazon Web Services (AWS) account.2. Create an Amazon EC2 instance
You'll need to establish an instance EC2 if you wish to construct an application using the resources you've saved on S3 in the future.
2a) AMI (Amazon Machine Image) Selection:An AMI is a template for creating a new instance (or virtual machine) depending on user needs. The software, operating system, volume, and access rights will all be included in the AMI. AMIs are divided into two categories:i) Predefined AMIs: These are created by Amazon and can be modified by the user.ii) Custom AMIs: The user also creates these, and they may be reused. These AMIs may be found on the AMI Marketplace as well.2b) Choosing a kind of instance:
An instance type describes the hardware requirements for the machine created in the previous phase. There are five primary families of instance types:i) Compute-optimized: For scenarios requiring a significant amount of processing power.ii) Memory-optimized: If you want to do something with your in-memory cache, this is the way to go.iii) GPU optimised: For setting up a gaming system or anything else that necessitates a powerful graphics card.iv) Storage optimised: When you need to set up a storage server, this feature comes in handy.v) All-purpose: When everything is in proportion. Instance types are set in stone, and their settings cannot be changed.
