Air Asia India:

This airline is a joint venture of Tata Sons (holding 83.67% stake) and Air Asia Investment Limited ( holding 16.33% stake). Headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka this airline commenced its operations on 12 June 2014.

Akasa Air:

This newly launched airline, headquartered in Mumbai is founded by Indian billionaire, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. The airline started its journey on 7th August 2022 from Mumbai to Ahmedabad and will initially have services from metro cities to tier-2 and tier-3 cities, as well as operating flights to major cities across India as well.
